This makes sure everyone is on the same page and does not forget any conclusions. Often handy for any follow-up meetings."

This is absolutely important task especially in consulting where people usually are working on short-lived ad-hoc teams and are not familiar with the working styles of each other.

Re: Effective Meetings 101

I need to start enforcing the food rule! As for OpenID, I thought I would take a break and try Disqus as that is what all the cool kids appear to be using these days.

Re: Effective Meetings 101

This is brilliant! I agree with Omid about lunch. And I would add:
-- if you expect me to present information at a meeting, let me know more than 10 minutes before the meeting starts!

Re: Effective Meetings 101

-if you are going to have a dial-in, please set that up before the meeting rather than making everyone watch you fight the conferencing system for 10 minutes.
-If the meeting is from 11-2 have food or I will leave

ps. I mean Outlook supports it and we all know Gmail is superior to Outlook. I'm sure they must have a reason for not including the functionality, unless they are working on it through Gmail labs.

Re: HTC Touch Pro with Sprint

Since I work with Kenan I have the same phone. While it's not an iPhone, it's pretty darn close. So far I made some tweaks to extend the wallpaper to all pages of the TouchFlo 3D interface and removed the annoying Sprint Music Store icon from the music player.

Good apps are:

TCPMP video player for watching movies
Fring for connecting to GTalk
and SlingBox Player for watching my DVR away from home (need to have a slingbox though).

Re: No car, no problem

Sweet.
